When you think of American muscle cars, it’s hard to go past the mighty Ford Mustang. After gracing the world stage in 1964, its power and unique style have became world-recognised, with car enthusiasts willing to pay top dollar to own a true blue American automotive icon. Though famous in their own right, the Mustang’s popularity has received a regular injection courtesy of starring roles in some of Hollywood’s biggest films.
Our favourite Mustang, the 1967 Mustang Shelby GT500, became an instant poster car after tearing up the streets in the 2000 film, Gone in Sixty Seconds, starring Nicolas Cage and Angelina Jolie.
